Code of Conduct Agreement
Swearing
(Required)
Due to the nature of our business & for the respect of others, swearing is not tolerated here.
Respect for All Cultures
(Required)
We do not discriminate based upon the race, gender, religious affiliation etc. Our school is composed of several different types of cultures. We teach our children to respect everyone for whom they are. If you have a different viewpoint or opinion, we ask that you keep it to yourself while on our grounds.
Attire
(Required)
Due to the nature of our business, everyone entering our school must wear a minimum of a shirt, pants/shorts/skirt, and shoes. Clothing items may not advertise sexual content, alcohol, mature language, or drug use, nor be see-through and/or revealing. Clothing will be deemed inappropriate by the childcare administrator.
Confidentiality
(Required)
We respect the confidentiality of each family member. We will not release information about your family to any other family at our center without your written approval. In return, we will not share information about another child or family with you. When an accident/incident occurs, we will not release the name of the other child involved due to our confidentiality agreement.
Smoking
(Required)
Smoking is not permitted in the school nor on school grounds.
Parking
(Required)
You must park in a parking spot. Do not park parallel to the door, even if it requires you parking on the farther end of the school. This is for everyone’s safety.
Driving in the parking lot
(Required)
Drive slowly!!!! Small children are everywhere. It is very easy to hit a child when driving in the parking lot.
Children in vehicles
(Required)
Do not leave your children,
regardless of their age
, in an unattended vehicle, no matter how
short your absence
will be.
Car Seats
(Required)
All children under the age of 8 or under 4’9 must be in an age/size appropriate, securely strapped car seat/booster seat. We will not release your child if you do not have this for your child.
Concerns Regarding Your Child
(Required)
If you have any concerns regarding your child, please speak with an administrator. The administrator will discuss concerns with the parents and LEGAL guardians only. We recognize others may have concerns regarding your child, but information will not be discussed or released to them without the parent being present. This includes friends as well as family members.
Threatening/Quarreling & Maintaining Composure
(Required)
Parents are not permitted to threaten, quarrel or be disrespectful with an administrator, staff member, other parent, or child. If you have a concern, please see an administrator for a rational and composed discussion of your concern. Threating, quarreling, yelling, talking loudly, or producing an unsafe or uneasy environment for anyone, is grounds for
IMMEDIATE dismissal
from our school.
Cell Phones
(Required)
Finish your phone conversations prior to entering the school. It is disruptive, lacks courteousness, is distracting, and most importantly, it prevents you from being fully present when greeting your child after a long absence.
Littering
(Required)
Help keep our parking lot/school clean. Trash cans are located in the parking lot, in the office, hallways, and classrooms. We will be happy to help you dispose of any trash.
Picture Identification: ALWAYS BRING PHOTO ID, EVEN IF YOU ARE A PARENT
(Required)
We try our best to get to know all our families. Please be patient and respectful with the staff when we ask for photo identification. We see many different people in a day, and it is easy for us not to recognize a person who doesn’t pick up often or with a family that is new to our center. This is solely for the safety of your child, and we do not mean any disrespect by this.
